Throughout the year Hope Against Cancer supporters hold many fantastic events to raise money for local cancer research. These events are organised and run by supporters in the community, and Hope Against Cancer holds no responsibility for cancellations and changes to the events.
If you are holding an event for us and would like it including here, please contact the Hope Against Cancer office. Please remember to include date, venue, admission, what’s included, and contact details for interested parties to get in touch.
Tracey's HOPE For A Dry Spell
I am Tracey Miller of The Miller Partnership, part of Leicester’s business community and, despite my reputation as a notorious Bon Vivant and Fizzophile, I have decided to donate 3 months of my life to Hope Against Cancer completely alcohol free to raise money for this wonderful cause.
“Hope Against Cancer funds research into the early detection, treatment and prevention of cancer. We want to beat cancer rather than manage the consequences.”
This is a challenge which could not be undertaken without the fabulous support of my corporate sponsors. A huge thank you goes out to business luminaries Edward Cooper Young, Smallman & Son, Corporate Architecture and Glynis Wright & Co Family Solicitors and Mediators – your help and generosity is hugely appreciated.
Life without prosecco is currently unimaginable but from August 31st finishing November 30th it will be my new reality, and on the evening of November 30th feel free to buy me a glass or two, in fact why not make it a bottle?Go to Tracey's Just Giving Page!
Leicester to Norfolk in 3 Days - Friday 24th August up to Sunday 26th August
Once upon a time a morbidly obese albino had a stupid idea to walk from his rugby club in Blaby, Leicestershire to Norfolk to try and raise a bit of money for charity. When he mentioned this to his equally stupid mates they agreed to do it with him and here we are.
Matt Salmon, Sam Fitzpatrick, Robbie Carr, Nathan Smith, Thomas Clowes and Adam White are gonna leave the Vipers RFC in Blaby Leicester on Friday 24/08/18 and walk 100 miles to Norfolk and hopefully arrive in time for some beers on Sunday 26th.
Hope Against Cancer is a fantastic charity close to Nathan’s heart as they are currently helping his mother with her battle against cancer and so anything you can share at all will be greatly appreciated.Support the lads!
