Dry January for Hope Against Cancer!

Has the Christmas period left you feeling a bit weary and weathered? One of the best ways to refresh your body and mind to kick start the New Year is of course, DRY JANUARY! Giving up the alcohol for 31 days can:

  • Cut down on calories
  • Improve your physical and mental health

Hope Against Cancer are encouraging those willing to take on the challenge to raise money through sponsors, or to simply donate all the money you save through not drinking to our amazing cause.

As a charity we rely heavily on the fundraising and support of the local community so why not try something new that benefits your health and raises money for charity at the same time. Start the New Year off as a healthier you.

There are some great tools on the Drinkaware website that will show you how many calories you could save and the added health benefits on quitting or cutting down on your alcohol consumption.
