Donate in Memory

If you have lost a loved one, a donation to us can help you pay a lasting tribute to their memory by contributing to Hope Against Cancer’s research and to a well-estabIished local charity fighting cancer.

We are also a local charity, raising and spending every pound ensuring that Leicestershire remains a centre of excellence for cancer research. So by leaving a gift in your will, you can rest assured that you will be making a significant contribution to our local research and supporting our local clinical trials. There are lots of different ways to donate in memory of a loved one:

Collect at a funeral

Your funeral director will usually be able to help you by collecting and forwarding donations, or you can send them directly to our head office at the address below.

If you would like to increase the amount you collect through the Gift Aid scheme, you can request our Gift Aid envelopes too, by calling us on 0116 270 010.

Ask for donations in lieu of flowers

You can ask friends or relatives to send donations directly to us at the address above in your loved one’s name. If you contact us to let us know that you will be collecting for us, we will acknowledge all donations sent in memory of your friend or relative.

Again, we can increase the amount donated by claiming Gift Aid. You can do this by by downloading and completing a Gift Aid declaration or by using our gift aid envelopes which we can send to you by post.
